— Nice one! You’re doing really well. - Good job! - Your work was impressive!
- CRIKEY
— I went shopping today! *comes in with lots of bags*
— Crikey! Have you spent all of our savings??!! - Gosh! - Australian euphemism here used instead of 'Christ!'
- DEAR
I avoid going shopping into the town centre nowadays, everything is so dear! — Slang 'dear' means 'expensive'.
- FAFF
Come on, we have to go now. Stop faffing around, we’re going to be late! — stop procrastination!
- DO
Are you going to Lizzie’s birthday do next week? — do=party!
2. Grammar Time! - it usually has to be not more than 15 minutes - but it depends on your basic knowledge...
They say there are 400 most used of them - I mean - phrase verbs. And here you are - another good news - I will give it to you in the best form of presentation - they are here, in the Pinterest table with their explanations: what a goody-in-two-shoes!
